Senior Ruby on Rails Software Engineer

About the Role
➜ Implementing new and expanding existing customer facing features and backend features with use of background processing - all to develop professional investment tools for private investors
➜ Applying design and UX changes or implementing modern design and UX for newly built features based on mockups prepared by a designer
➜ Developing bug fixes, maintaining existing code, keeping the dependencies up-to-date and writing unit tests for any new features or changes
➜ Working very closely with the Product Owner and actively participating in building our product

We are looking for a person who:
➜ Has experience of at least 4 years as a full stack web developer and is comfortable and fluent with both Ruby and Ruby on Rails
➜ Has good knowledge of CSS, Bootstrap 5, JavaScript and modern Ruby on Rails technologies (e.g. Turbo, Stimulus, Propshaft, ViewComponent)
➜ Has hands-on experience with background processing (Sidekiq), MySQL and has advanced knowledge of how to deal with it efficiently
➜ Is confident with tackling topics like: server infrastructure, software architecture design, technical preparation and planning based on product requirements
